Fit4 2010 Corporate Responsibility
We, at Siemens, consider that it is important to discharge our corporate social responsibility for the company to be successful in the long run.
The corporate responsibility Siemens is required to discharge includes providing products and services of value to society and fulfilling its responsibility from the aspects of ethics, environment, economy and society. In Fit4 2010, we emphasize the following points:
- Corporate Governance
We focus on the transparency of our accounting system, compliance to rules for financial statements and open communication with our shareholders.
- Compliance
As symbolized in the term Zero tolerance, we strictly enforce full compliance with laws and regulations company-wide. While a new compliance system brings norms of the highest level and integrity and transparency into effect, our employees and managers keep to the standards of legal / ethical conduct set by combining rules and guidelines with regard to their relations with business partners.
The Compliance HelpDesk “Tell us” function provides global, round-the-clock facilities for making statements on breaches of the Business Conduct Guidelines. The Call Center and the Website facilities are operated by an external provider specializing in the secure and confidential handling of sensitive content. Incoming messages are not traced, neither is the sender automatically registered.

Siemens plays an active role in the community as a responsible corporate citizen.
