We will now be continuing business under the new name of Siemens Japan K.K. as an integrated technology company and operating as a stronger regional company with a solid foundation, covering businesses in all 3 sectors of Healthcare, Industry and Energy.

Siemens-Asahi Medical Technologies Ltd., a joint company with Asahi Kasei Corporation, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siemens K.K. upon acquisition of the 10% shares held by Asahi Kasei Corporation. Following this acquisition, Siemens-Asahi Medical Technologies Ltd. changed its name to Siemens Japan K.K. as of July 1st.

Siemens K.K. has been integrated into Siemens Japan K.K. on August 1st, making Siemens Japan K.K. an integrated technology company. This will now enable us to provide products, services and solutions to our customers in the three sectors of “Healthcare”, “Industry” and “Energy”. We will continue to strive towards further growth in all sectors.
